Maifest
A wonderful celebration taking place in Leavenworth to welcome in the Spring with the Grand Parade, live entertainment, traditional German dancing, the Village of Flowers and Art in the Park.
Icicle Creek Center for the Arts
Enjoy seeing some of the best films, plays, musicals, dance, and more of the arts in North Central Washington. Icicle Creek has an event for all tastes and is a great way to spend your evening, or day, in town.

Outdoor Recreation

Pine River Ranch is a wonderful site for bird-watching! Each suite comes complete with bird watching guide books and binoculars for you to roam around our nature trail and spot over 30 different species of birds!

There is a great one-mile loop right out the back door of your suite here at Pine River Ranch and over 22 acres to explore, including riverfront access to Nason Creek. If you are looking for more vigorous hikes you can also visit our Walks, Hiking & Biking activity page.
Consists of 2.2 million acres and approximately 40 percent are designated as Wilderness in seven Wilderness Areas. There are over 2,500 miles of recreational trails… be sure to pack a lunch! We also have an easy nature trail throughout the property for a leisurely stroll to Nason Creek, or we can direct you to great trails that are just a short drive away.

Equipment rental in Leavenworth. Some very popular rock faces. In the summer you can normally see rock climbers from the highway while driving between the Pine River Ranch and Leavenworth.
Lake Wenatchee State Park is located one mile from the Pine River Ranch and spans 489 acres with 12.623 feet of waterfront. Golf, horseback ride, hike, enjoy the beach or play in the beautiful (but cold) Lake Wenatchee. See the website for more information.
Official Wenatchee National Forest
The Pine River Ranch is located amidst the Wenatchee National Forest. This site has current recreational information in the area. Hiking, biking and permit information.
Fishing & Hunting
A variety of fishing is available. Fish Lake is very popular for trout fishing. Mule deer, Turkey, Grouse/Quail, and beer hunting are also available. Check with the Department of Game for season information and details.
