Leavenworth Wineries

The bold flavors and unique blends are what keep wine lovers all over the country flocking to Leavenworth, and now it’s your turn to taste it for yourself! Here are some of our favorite wineries that are the perfect additions to any vacation itinerary.

1. Eagle Creek Winery

Eagle Creek Winery is Leavenworth’s oldest winery and among one of the most popular. They produce only the highest quality premium wines from grapes that were selectively hand-picked in their very own vineyard. The winery is nestled right in the beautiful Cascade Mountains, but guests will feel as if they have been transported to the wine country of Tuscany from the moment they walk through the doors.

During a tour, the winery owner himself will escort you through his wine cellar. Afterward, you and your partner can indulge in a bottle of wine on the gorgeously lit patio or treehouse overlooking the vineyards. If you’ll be in Downtown Leavenworth, don’t forget to stop by Eagle Creek Winery’s D’Vinery Tasting Room! This quaint tasting room is adorned with hand-carved woodwork (created by the winemaker himself), original paintings, and stunning mountain views.

2. Icicle Ridge Winery

This log cabin winery not only provides visitors with jaw-dropping views of the Cascade Mountains, but also unsurpassed hospitality you’ll hardly find anywhere else. Icicle Ridge Winery also focuses on several varieties of wine that are rooted in drinkability. Careful barreling and reliance on the fruit’s natural flavors are what make their wines so irresistibly delicious. Choose from their three tasting locations throughout Leavenworth and send your taste buds on a journey to paradise.

3. Boudreaux Cellars

Offering one of the best wine tasting experiences in Leavenworth, Boudreaux Cellars is a destination for unforgettable wine. The selections here are the product of years of appreciating the art of fine wine. They understand that the smooth, deep, and layered compositions of wine take time and need mysterious nuances of smoke, hickory, oak, blackberry, cherry, and candy.

There are also two fabulous tasting locations for you to choose from, one of which is located right in Downtown Leavenworth. The New Orleans French Quarter-inspired atmosphere creates a memorable setting for you to enjoy some of the state’s best wine.

4. Silvara Vineyards

Silvara Winery in Leavenworth sits on a stunning 5-acre estate and is arguably Leavenworth’s most popular winery. The estate abounds with fields of wildflowers and boasts magnificent views of the Upper Wenatchee River Valley, which is one of the main drawing points for visitors. The tasting room’s stone fireplaces, outdoor patios, and gourmet dinners create an inviting environment for some of the best wine tastings in Leavenworth.

5. Stemilt Creek Winery

Stemilt Creek Winery is known for producing its medium, full-bodied wines in a minimalist production facility. After the wines ferment in 200-gallon vessels, they spend between 20 and 28 months in barrels before bottling. The product is a bold and tasty wine that is well worth the cravings.

6. Wedge Mountain Winery

Located just five miles east of Leavenworth, Wedge Mountain Winery is a family-owned and operated vineyard set right beside the Wenatchee River. During your visit, you’ll be able to taste a wide variety of wines made from grapes grown right on the property. Whether you’re a lover of the classics or interested in trying something new, you’ll be sure to find your new favorite wine! You can even taste wines in an underground cave, behind the thick walls of a straw bale building, or in a beautiful orchard garden.

7. Hard Row to Hoe

This laid-back received its name from an entrepreneurial man who ran a rowboat taxi service on Lake Clean in the 1930s! His main customers included miners who wanted to take the shortcut to a brothel once located in Point Lovely. Today, Hard Row to Hoe’s playful spirit and exceptionally tasty wines make them a very popular attraction among Leavenworth’s visitors. Guests are also welcome to enjoy a picnic on the lawn, take a boat ride, play a game of ladder ball, or embark on a tour of the vineyard during their visit.

8. Kestrel Vintners Leavenworth Tasting Room

Kestrel’s obsession is to create elegant, distinctive wines from its estate vineyards. We invite you to visit Kestrel Vintners’ Leavenworth Tasting Room and try our uniquely crafted wines.

9. Ryan Patrick Vineyards

Ryan Patrick Vineyards are grown in the Ancient Lakes area of Washington’s central Columbia Valley. You can taste these artfully crafted blends at the Leavenworth Tasting Room, or purchase a bottle online
