History of Stemilt Creek Winery
Stemilt Creek Winery was founded by Kyle and Jan Mathison. They come from a family of 4th-generation farmers. Since 1893, the Mathison family has grown fruit trees in the Wenatchee area. In 2001, the first vineyards were planted, and just a couple years later, Stemitt Creek Winery opened its doors to the public. Since then, the winery has gone above and beyond to serve its visitors a fantastic wine tasting experience and selections that are sure to create cravings.
Stemilt Creek Wines
Stemilt Creek specializes in medium to full-bodied red wines. However, you’ll find a wide selection of white wines and roses that are absolutely delicious. Each vintage is created in a minimalist production facility and fermented in 200-gallon vessels before being punched down on a tailored schedule for extraction. Then the wines spend between 20 and 28 months in barrel depending on product prior to bottling. The product is a bold and tasty wine that is well worth the cravings. Be sure to check out their wine menu before you visit to find out what they’re serving and discover your favorite.
Also, you may want to become a part of the Stemilt Wine Club! This membership allows you to enjoy reduced prices on wine, special deals not available to anyone else, twice yearly shipments, and more.
