3 Ways to Celebrate the Fourth of July in Washington State

1. Outdoor Adventure
No summer vacation would be complete with an outdoor adventure. Luckily, Leavenworth is nestled among some of the best outdoor recreation that Washington State has to offer. One of our favorite summer adventures is river tubing in Leavenworth! There are a few local tour companies that offer river tubing excursions along the Wenatchee River.
Osprey Rafting offers a 4th of July Fireworks Float. This special event begins at the landing where attendees can enjoy barbeque and live music. Then, enjoy a nighttime float down the Wenatchee where you will pull over and enjoy a spectacular fireworks display before heading back to the landing!
2. Indulge in American Cuisine
There’s no more iconic American dish than a burger and fries. So, delicious American cuisine is a must for your Fourth of July getaway! Heidleburger Drive In is a great spot for American eats! The menu features burgers, sandwiches, and sides. Local tip: Be sure to order one of their “Flurrys” which is essentially a milkshake with your favorite flavors and candies mixed in. Just like the good old days, the food is delivered right to your car!
