Top 5 Scenic Drives Near Leavenworth, WA 

1. Blewett Pass 

Blewett Pass is a 52.9-mile mountain pass in the Wenatchee Mountains. This roadway sits at an elevation of more than 4,000 feet, so it’s a great way to climb the mountainside without any physical labor! You can check the road conditions report before heading out to see if it’s safe. We advise against visiting when there’s snow and/or ice on the ground. 

2. Lake Wenatchee Loop 

The Lake Wenatchee Loop is a must-visit for Pine River Ranch guests. This 80-mile round-trip route weaves through the Wenatchee National Forest and Lake Wenatchee before looping back to the town of Leavenworth.  

3. Stevens Pass Greenway 

Visit two national forests in one fell swoop when you visit Stevens Pass Greenway. This greenway covers a total of 89 miles that runs through Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest and Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest.  

4. North Cascades Highway 

North Cascades Highway, or Washington State Route 20, is part of the 400-mile Cascade Loop. Drive through the North Cascades and enjoy beautiful views of vistas, towering firs, and more! While you’re driving through the mountains, plan to stop off at some of the hiking trails along the way. 

5. Olympic Peninsula 

The Olympic Peninsula is one of our favorite road trips in Washington State. It’s known as one of “Washington’s Most Majestic Places” because of the beautiful sights at Olympic National Park. During your visit to the park, you must visit the Enchanted Valley, which boasts several hiking trails that lead to beautiful views!
