Discover the Magic of the Farm
There’s a magic in this family run farm, a magic that you just can’t find anywhere else in the nation and as 3 generations work hard to give guests an experience they won’t soon forget, the reindeer under their care thrive. The reindeer farm, located at 10395 Chumstick Highway in Leavenworth, opened its doors to the public for the first time in 2016, offering a motto that tells the world they conserve, educate, and titillate the imagination, the latter being easy to understand. And as you and your family walk through its gates, don’t be surprised if your kids seem to be looking towards the clouds as often as they are peeking at the reindeer, perhaps wondering if they can see them fly and if Santa is somewhere nearby.
Reindeer Farm Experience
The Leavenworth Reindeer Farm is known for the three tours it offers, starting with the Reindeer Farm Experience. Taking place during the spring (the farm is closed for tours in April) summer, and fall, for the first half hour, guests will be treated to a safety briefing, an educational presentation, and 20 minutes spent inside the reindeer corral, feeding the reindeer, oohing and ahhing over baby reindeer (during a spring visit), and enjoying a variety of photo opportunities, the results of which will serve as the best kind of souvenirs. After the formal part of the tour has completed, visitors can explore the rest of the farm, shopping in the gift shop, purchasing snacks from the farm concession stand (Blitzen Brew), and meeting the other animals who call the reindeer farm their home. Prices range from $25 to $40.

Celebrate the Season Reindeer Farm Experience
This next tour offered by the Leavenworth Reindeer Farm is just about to begin, taking place in November and December and celebrating the jolliest of elves, Santa Claus himself. This experience offers some of the same as the regular Reindeer Farm Experience, with the added option of a meet & greet with Santa, who will be waiting in his sleigh as campfires are lit to help ward off the cold. This tour sells out quickly, so make your reservations early and be prepared to pay $40 per person. (0 to 2 years of age will only be $5.)
Christmas in July! Meet Santa and the Baby Reindeer
This last tour takes place every Saturday in the month of July and includes a meet and greet with Santa, who will be dressed in his favorite off-duty clothing. Helping Santa pick out his new flight crew, meeting the baby reindeer who are impossibly cute, and for 12 year olds and under, receiving a flower lei at the conclusion of the standard presentation, this fun tour costs $25 per person, with a $5 fee for the 0-2 year olds.
