Leavenworth and Lake Wenatchee are beautiful
locations in Washington to come for a great spring or
summer getaway. The town of Leavenworth attracts locals
and tourists alike for the wonderful shopping, great
food, local vineyards and wide varieties of German
beers. You and your partner can enjoy a wonderful
relaxing day experiencing the outdoor summer theater,
walking through the many specialty shops in downtown
Leavenworth and sampling the many different worldly
cuisines. If you are looking for a more outdoor approach
Lake Wenatchee is home to hundreds of miles of bike
trails, hikes, beautiful parks and outdoor gardens, with
plenty of local cuisine as well. We would be happy to

Leavenworth Tours & Wineries
A wonderful celebration taking place in Leavenworth to
welcome in the Spring with the Grand Parade, live
entertainment, traditional German dancing, the Village of
Flowers and Art in the Park.
Leavenworth Summer Theater
Leavenworth's Summer Theater outside at the Ski Hill
Amphitheater in Leavenworth, the Leavenworth Outdoor
Biergarten, or the
Hatchery Park at the Leavenworth Fish Hatchery.

Pine River Ranch is a wonderful site for bird watching!
Each suite comes complete with bird watching guide books and
binoculars for your to roam around our nature trail and spot
over 30 different species of birds! For the more avid bird
watcher there are seven sites listed in the area, selected by
Audubon as some of the best birding hotspots in the state.
Waterfront Park, only a few blocks from downtown, has tall
cottonwoods and other important streamside vegetation full
of many species. Look for Gray Catbird,
Veery and Bullock’s
Oriole. The Wenatchee and Icicle Rivers offer a watery oasis
for birds and other wildlife, and are home to Belted
Kingfisher, Harlequin Duck and Wood Duck. Osprey are
becoming more abundant in the valley, recovering from the
impact of pesticides that damaged their eggs and are no
longer in use. Pick up a free copy of the map illustrating
this traveler's trail at the Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce
or Barn Beach Reserve at 347 Division Street.

Fishing & Hunting
A variety of fishing
is available. Fish Lake is very popular for trout fishing.
Mule deer and elk hunting is also available. Check with the
Department of Game for season information and details.

Icicle Junction Miniature Golf:
Just as you go in to
town on the right. $5.50 a round.
Kahler Glen Golf Course:
1 mile north of us on
Hwy 207. 18 hole course, marine driving range and putting

There is a great one mile loop right out the back door of your suite here at Pine River Ranch and

The Wenatchee National Forest :
Consists of 2.2 million acres and approximately 40
percent is designated as Wilderness in seven Wilderness
Areas. There are over 2,500 miles of recreational
trails...be sure to pack a lunch! We also have a easy nature
trail throughout the property for a leisurely stroll to
Nason Creek, or we can direct you to great
trails that are
just a short drive away.

faces. In the summer you can normally see rock climbers
from the highway while driving between the
Pine River Ranch and Leavenworth.
