1. Northwest Dog Sled Adventures

Meet the Flying Furs of Northwest Dogsled Adventures! These teams of beautiful dogs are formed from Iditarod veterans, racing champions, Siberian Huskies, Alaskans, and rescues. Not only will you have the opportunity to meet and play with them, but they will lead you on a thrilling journey through the Leavenworth wilderness. Rates for the Northwest Dog Sled Adventures

The company begins accepting reservations for the winter months beginning November 1st. A 50% deposit is required to confirm your tour date and time. Tours take place from mid-December to April 1st (weather permitting.)

One Hour Tour (7 miles): $165 for adult and $110 for a child under 80 pounds. Reservations must be made in advance on the company’s contact page.

2. SierraBlu Kennels

An interesting fact about the SierraBlu Kennels sled team is that they are actually music video stars! They made an appearance as Macklemore’s dog team in his music video for “Can’t Hold Us” in 2013. Not only have they been featured on TV, but they are also weight-pulling champions and have brought home several gold medals. Now you can meet these beautiful celebrities for yourself!

Rides with the dogs of SierraBlu Kennels usually begins the first part of December, weather permitting. They will also be offering rides during the third week of the Leavenworth Winter Festival for one hour, two hour, and half hour excursions.
