Village Art in the Park, Downtown Leavenworth 

Village Art in the Park is our town’s longest running outdoor art installment starts in May and runs through October and during your July visit will be one of your most worthy adventures. Showcasing the creativity of artists of all genres, the organization that hosts the installment is a nonprofit one, dedicated to keeping art alive by offering scholarships, supplies, support, and encouragement to up and coming artists. The works for sale during this festival, cover all the genres, including photography, paints, jewelry, and metalwork, all of which will make fantastic souvenirs of your Washington getaway. 

Rafting on the Wenatchee River 

The waters of the local rivers have begun to calm down a bit as the worst of the snowmelt has subsided, but that shouldn’t keep you from having the time of your life when you book a river rafting trip with Orion River Rafting, especially if your visit to Leavenworth takes place in early July. Hike to the Views

This is an out and back hike, going up, up, and up for 2 miles, and then you turn around and go down, down, down to return to your car. The ridgetop is where you are heading, offering views of the forest and the Wenatchee River that you will never forget. 

Ride Off Into the Sunset 

Horseback riding is a popular activity in the summer months and Eagle Creek Ranch, located at 7951 Eagle Creek Road, offers a variety of trail rides that are sure to make you fall in love even deeper with your favorite traveling partner. Enjoy a 40 minute ride through the forest, an hour long ride that takes you up the ridge for beautiful views, or a 5-mile ride that explores both the trails already listed.
