Leavenworth Adventure Park
The family that plays together stays closer, and your weekend in Leavenworth wouldn’t be as fun without a play day at Leavenworth Adventure Park, which is open year-round, five days a week (Thursday through Monday). Offering a really cool climbing wall that is open to all ages (Except babies, of course, they really aren’t that great climbers!) and a mining sluice that will allow your kiddos to pan for gemstones and fun treasures, we can almost promise that the sluice would be the best part of your adventure, but no, the Alpine Coaster is what will take first position in their hearts. The Tumwater Twister, created by the mascot of the park, Super Lou the Bavarian Lion, twists and turns its way down the slope, satisfying your daredevil’s need for speed and your children’s mother’s need for safe fun!
Bavarian Walking Tours
A weekend isn’t nearly long enough to experience all that Leavenworth has to offer, and although we do hope that you will return again soon, we know that taking part in a Bavarian Walking Tour will give you a more in-depth exploration of the beauty of our small town. Led by an experienced and personable guide in lederhosen or a lass in traditional Bavarian dress, they offer a selection of tours, including a brewery tour (highly recommended!) a historical walking tour, and a combination history and wine tour in which you can sip, stroll, & savor the European beauty of Leavenworth.
